One Piece swing axle boot installation

Here's a video our friend Max Welton did when he replaced the one-piece swingaxle boots on his Squareback: "we heated the boots in a pot of hot water and lubricated it with silicon. It also seemed to help to position the axle tube so that gravity is our friend."

Also to add to the topic, here's what Max made as a swingaxle bearing puller: "I don't have the nifty VW tool to get the axles out of the tubes. But a quick call to PH and a little fabricating and we had ourselves a little puller. Used a couple of 10mm cylinder head studs and two pieces of angle-iron welded together into a box-section."
